Why we exist
Closing barriers through practical action
Too many children are excluded from meaningful education because of disability, poverty, limited specialist support, inaccessible facilities or a lack of appropriate learning materials. Sir JALAL exists to help close these gaps through practical support, training, partnership and long-term institutional development.

A responsible founding structure
Muhammad Aamir JAMAL
Founder and PresidentMuhammad Aamir Jamal is a humanitarian projects and operations professional with more than 16 years of international field experience in complex environments affected by conflict, displacement, disease outbreaks and poverty. His expertise includes emergency preparedness and response and multidisciplinary operational coordination. With academic training in Public Health and a Master of Business Administration (MBA), he combines practical field leadership with accountable management and a strong understanding of community needs. Originally from Hangu and inspired by the educational legacy of his father, Abdul Jalal—widely known as Jalal Ustaad—he founded Sir JALAL to help children facing disability, poverty and exclusion access safe, inclusive and dignified learning opportunities.
Marion HASSE
Secretary General and Acting TreasurerMarion Hasse is a water and environmental project manager with extensive humanitarian field experience in water, sanitation, infrastructure and essential services. Her work has included managing potable-water, wastewater-treatment and sanitation activities supporting healthcare facilities and communities in demanding operational contexts. She brings technical project-management expertise, environmental knowledge and practical field experience to the association. As Secretary General and Acting Treasurer, she supports administration, governance records and financial oversight during the organisation’s preparation stage.
Dedicated operational roles will be added gradually as activities, governance needs and funding grow.
The story behind the name
The legacy of Jalal Ustaad
Sir Jalal Learning House is inspired by Abdul Jalal—known in Hangu as Jalal Ustaad—a teacher who served generations with patience, dignity and care. His example of listening, service and education inspired his son, Muhammad Aamir Jamal, to carry that spirit forward through an organisation rooted in Hangu and legally established in France.
